Retired & Special Kitties

Updated July 3, 2011

We love all the kitties here at Indigo Rags, but sometimes a kitty who has been retired from our breeding program lets us know that she wants to have her own special human. When that happens, we look for someone very special indeed to take the absolute best care of these wonderful mama kitties. We also occasionally have a "special kitty" who has had some issue that has made him or her available a little later than as a young kitten. If you are interested in a retired or special kitty, please drop us a to let us know.

Emerson — Adopted

Emerson is a special young adult. He is super friendly, and he likes to come by and sit in my lap several times a day. He's definitely a "meet you at the door, follow you around the house" kitty. He had a health problem when he was a little kitten, but he's okay now (although he has to take half a pill every third day so that it won't come back). Emerson has been neutered, and he has been adopted.

Oliver — Adopted

Oliver is a silver classic tabby & white boy, born October 17, 2008. He is also a special kitty, having survived pneumonia, which he suddenly got as a kitten during his first winter. Thankfully, he recovered, and now he's been adopted by Kristen, Jeremy & Clarisse. He lives not too far away now, and he's doing just fine.

Sweet Melody — Adopted

Melody had her fourth birthday on June 20, 2009. She is a blue point mitted Ragdoll with deep blue eyes. She is such a friendly girl. She lives in Santa Cruz with one of her now-grown kittens and her new special people. I know she'll spoil them & they will spoil her, too. Melody had some beautiful kittens while here, including a grand champion kitty girl.

Lovely Coda — Adopted

Coda was three years old when she retired and was adopted by a wonderful couple in southern California. She is a blue point mitted Ragdoll with striking blue eyes and a loving disposition. She was a wonderful mama kitty here, and her new mama writes to me periodically to say that she is happy and doing well.
